BRUC publishes its first Sustainability Report

  • In 2024, BRUC generated 2,018 GWh of emission-free energy, representing a 40% increase over the previous year. This growth has made it possible to avoid the emission of 524,785 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, equivalent to the pollution produced by 353,221 combustion vehicles. In addition, the energy produced could supply the consumption of 512,936 homes in Spain, highlighting the company’s impact on energy sustainability at the national level.
  • BRUC has calculated, for the first time, its carbon footprint and has set itself the goal of reducing it annually, with the ultimate goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2045.
  • BRUC actively contributes to the local communities where it is present, generating significant socioeconomic benefits, promoting job creation and developing social initiatives that address the specific needs of each region. Through these actions, BRUC drives local and rural development, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the municipalities where it is present.
