The total investment figure in the region amounts to 2,260 million, of which 1,230 million have already been disbursed. Seville, October 29, 2024 – BRUC, one of the fastest growing and most dynamic companies in the renewable energy sector, will invest 2.26 billion euros in Andalusia as part of its strategic plan until 2028. Of this amount, 1.23 billion euros have already been disbursed to finance the development and construction of solar photovoltaic power generation plants and another 1.03 billion euros will be allocated over the next three years to the expansion of a generation park with a total capacity of 3,112 megawatts (MW). BRUC currently has 13 solar photovoltaic generation plants in operation, totalling 795 MW. These facilities are located in the provinces of Seville (10), Huelva (2) and Cadiz (1). In addition, it is building another 17 plants with a combined capacity of 850 MW in the aforementioned provinces plus Malaga. In addition to these plants in operation and under construction, there are another 33 projects in the development phase (1,467 MW), which include the hybridization of plants with solar energy and battery storage. These plants represent the creation of 1,652 qualified jobs and contribute to the reindustrialization of the territory, on the one hand, and to the generation of economic activity in sparsely populated rural areas, on the other. Andalusia is a priority community for BRUC. Its portfolio of assets includes the Don Rodrigo node, with 400 kilovolts (kV) and a power evacuation capacity of 1,000 MW, the largest private renewable generation node in the community. By 2028, with all the plants in operation, BRUC expects to produce 3.02 terawatt-hours (TWh) annually, the consumption of nearly 800,000 homes, 25% of Andalusian households. This production will ensure the supply of electricity for the community and will make it one of the leading exporters to the rest of Spain. BRUC connects its first hybrid batteries with solar energy in Extremadura.

Madrid, October 3, 2024 – BRUC, one of the fastest growing and most dynamic companies in the renewable energy sector, has reached an important milestone in its strategic plan with the connection of its first two solar hybridized batteries in two of its photovoltaic plants in Cáceres, Cáceres 2020 of 51 MW and Cáceres 2021 of 53 MW. The storage systems installed in the photovoltaic plants have a charging capacity of 2 MWh and 4 MWh, respectively. State-of-the-art technology has been incorporated in the design of the projects to maximize storage efficiency. In particular, the hybridized batteries are designed to store at least 2,190 MWh of energy annually, capturing the surplus generated during peak solar production hours. This storage system allows the release of stored energy at times of high demand, which optimizes energy flow management. In addition, this storage strategy not only increases the responsiveness of the energy system to fluctuations in demand, but also improves the stability and resilience of the power grid. By reducing dependence on conventional energy sources during consumption peaks, it minimizes environmental impact and promotes a more sustainable use of energy resources. This creates an enabling environment for the transition to a more efficient and reliable energy system, capable of adapting to changing market and consumer needs. This pilot project represents for BRUC a further step in the achievement of its strategic plan. The company is currently developing 1.5 gigawatts (GW) of storage systems using battery hybridization at its photovoltaic facilities. BRUC already produces 10% of the total photovoltaic solar energy in Andalusia

BRUC and Texla executives explain to the Councilor of Industry, Energy and Mines the development of their investments in the region. Seville, September 18, 2024. – On the afternoon of September 17, the Councilor of Industry, Energy and Mines of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Jorge Paradela Gutiérrez, received the President and CEO of BRUC, Juan Béjar and Luis Venero, respectively, to follow the evolution of the renewable energy company’s investments in this community. The meeting was attended by Texla’s general manager, Miguel Montero, and the director of the Andalusia Energy Agency, Natalia Márquez García. BRUC, one of the main leaders in renewable generation in Spain, has 8,000 megawatts (MW) in operation, construction and development, of which almost 40% are located in Andalusia. It currently has 630 MW of photovoltaic solar energy already in operation, representing 10 % of the community’s photovoltaic energy. By the end of 2025 BRUC will have 1,645 MW of photovoltaic solar energy in commercial operation. When all the plants foreseen in the business plan come into operation, BRUC will generate 3,020,900 MWh in Andalusia, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 767,700 homes, which will prevent the emission of 824,705 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year. The projects represent a total investment of 2,260 million euros, of which 1,230 million euros have already been invested. This investment will mean the creation of 1,652 jobs, most of which are located in rural areas. During the meeting, it was also highlighted that the Don Rodrigo 400 kV node, 100% owned by BRUC, is the largest private renewable generation node in Andalusia, with a peak power of 1 GW. BRUC starts up the 55 MW Aguasvivas solar photovoltaic plant in Aragon

This is a new milestone in the fulfillment of the strategic plan, which calls for the deployment of 8,000 MW in Spain. The solar plant, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and an annual production of 96,380 MWh, will make a significant contribution to the supply of clean energy in Aragon. It has the capacity to provide electricity to 24,500 homes per year and thus avoid the emission of 26,300 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The plant is located in the province of Zaragoza and covers an area of 97 hectares. This project is part of a portfolio of 4,900 MW that BRUC is developing in Aragon. BRUC closes the first half of 2024 with 2,000 MW in operation and under construction

An additional 472 MW will be connected to the grid before the end of the year. The group’s projects generated 1,032 GWh in the first six months. Madrid, July 29, 2024 – BRUC, one of the fastest growing and most dynamic companies in the renewable energy sector, closed the first half of 2024 with 2,000 MW in operation and under construction. BRUC’s portfolio of assets in Spain and Japan totals 8,000 MW, of which 1,066 MW are already in commercial operation and 897 MW are under construction. The rest, up to 8,000 MW, corresponds to projects under development and hybridization projects with other generation technologies, mainly wind and storage. A further 472 MW will be added to the 1,066 MW in operation before the end of the current year, bringing BRUC’s total solar photovoltaic power in operation to 1,538 MW by the end of 2024. In addition, BRUC expects to start construction of 506 MW in the second half of 2024. In the first half of 2024, despite low radiation, BRUC’s energy production in Spain and Japan has reached 1,032.82 GWh, thus avoiding the emission of 281,960 tons of carbon dioxide. The energy discharged into the grid by BRUC during the period could supply 296,192 Spanish households. The financing for the construction and commissioning of the portfolio of assets is secured through various project finance agreements that the company has in place with leading financial institutions. BRUC organizes a visit with its main banks and financial advisors to its Cartago A2 solar complex

Last Thursday, May 23, Bruc, a leader in the renewable energy sector, had the honor of hosting leading representatives of banking institutions and financial advisors at its 53MW Don Rodrigo II solar plant. This project is part of the 111.5 MW Cartago A2 photovoltaic complex, with the capacity to supply 60,000 Spanish homes per year. The complex avoids the emission of 59,200 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere per year. The attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the innovations and technological advances implemented in our projects. Bruc’s technical team explained to the visitors the process of generating photovoltaic solar energy, the energy efficiency of our facilities and the environmental benefits generated by our projects. The tour included a visit to our Matallana substation, where those present were able to see its operation and scope from the field. The bank representatives showed great interest in Bruc’s sustainable practices and projects. They discussed possible financing opportunities and support for the achievement of our portfolio of renewable energy projects. During the day, the attendees also had the opportunity to see the compatibility of photovoltaic plants with local agriculture and livestock farming. The visit culminated with a question and answer session, where the guests were able to express their concerns and suggestions, establishing a constructive dialogue and strengthening the relationship between Bruc and the financial institutions present. BRUC promotes training in renewable energies
Yesterday, a group of students from the San Francisco de Padua International School visited our Cartago A1 photovoltaic complex, located in Carmona, in an educational visit where the students were able to learn about its operation in a dynamic and entertaining way and learned about the development of renewable energies from the field, in collaboration with the Texla team, which has been responsible for the commissioning, engineering and environmental management of the project and personnel of Solarpack, which performs maintenance work on our projects. The visit was also attended by Miguel Montero Bueno, Texla’s general manager. An experience that was not only a perfect complement to their learning in the classroom, but also a unique experience for them that also underlines the relevance of environmental education in today’s world. During the session, the possibilities offered by photovoltaic energy, the different phases of a photovoltaic solar plant and the importance of the environment and sustainability, among other topics, were highlighted. During the day, experts from Bruc and Texla also explained the safety measures to be taken into account in an electrical installation, as well as the compatibility of solar energy with agriculture and livestock. The students were able to see the water troughs for animals in the complex, ponds, observe the regeneration of riverbanks, sheep carrying out vegetation control and even spotted species such as the imperial eagle or the Montagu’s harrier in the area. We are committed to educating and supporting new generations on their way to a deeper and more practical understanding of renewable energies and environmental management and we believe that training in the field of clean energy is a fundamental tool to contribute to the energy transition and decarbonization. The visit was a unique occasion in which we were able to show how renewable energies can work together with the environment for sustainable development. With this type of initiative, whose purpose is to promote the development of the communities in which we are present, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainable development and the dissemination of the benefits of renewable energies. The complex deploys 263.476 MW of green energy, occupying a total area of 488 hectares, and avoids the emission of 139,700 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, supplying some 141,700 families. BRUC secures a EUR 570 million financing for the construction of 842 MW of solar PV assets
April, 16.- BRUC has closed a €570 million financing agreement with Santander, ING, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole CIB, Sabadell, BBVA and Unicaja. These funds will enable the construction of solar photovoltaic power generation plants totalling 842 megawatts (MW). The financing is classified as a “green loan”. Banco Santander acted as financial advisor, hedge coordinator and green loan coordinator. ING, BNP Paribas, and Crédit Agricole CIB acted as bookrunners, and together with Sabadell, BBVA and Unicaja acted as MLAs, and hedge providers. Allen&Overy and Linklaters acted as legal advisors. The plants, whose construction will be partially financed with these funds, are in the provinces of Seville, Malaga, Cadiz and Soria. All of them will count with Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with leading offtakers, including Pfizer, Alstom and Grupo Roca. These plants will generate 1,400 jobs during the construction phase. Once they come into operation, expected in 2024 and 2025, they will generate energy equivalent to the consumption of 421,000 homes and avoid the emission of 33,680,000 tonnes of CO2. BRUC currently has 1,100 MW in operation. By the end of the year, it will add a further 2,000 MW under construction. BRUC’s total portfolio amounts to 8,500 MW, of which 8,400 MW are in the Iberian Peninsula and 100 MW in Japan. Last year, BRUC signed a financing agreement with seven banks for 600 million euros. BRUC, the green energy group, agrees a corporate financing of € 600 million for the construction of its 8,500 MW portfolio in Spain

Schroders, Infranity, Santander, ING, Instituto de Crédito Oficial, BNP Paribas and Intesa Sanpaolo lend the funds to the company founded by Juan Béjar which shareholders are OPTrust and USS. Recently Interogo acquired 49% of the company that brings together the plants already operational and in the advanced phase of construction. September 25, 2023.- BRUC, the green energy group based in Madrid, has signed a financing agreement with seven entities for an amount of 600 million euros. This amount guarantees a substantial part of the contributions necessary for the investment in the construction and entry into operation of a portfolio of solar photovoltaic and wind generation plants in Spain totaling 8,500 megawatts (MW). The entities participating in this corporate financing package are Schroders, Infranity, Santander, ING, Instituto de Crédito Oficial, BNP Paribas and Intesa Sanpaolo. Astris Finance has acted as financial advisor, Allen & Overy as legal advisor to BRUC, and Linklaters as legal advisor to the funders. The financing agreement has been substantiated under the “corporate sustainable financing” formula, given that the entities have considered ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria. BRUC’s positioning in the clean energy sector was already key for OPTrust and USS pension funds to enter the company’s capital in 2016 and 2021, respectively. More recently, past June, Interogo Holding (IH), via its infrastructure investment fund Inter Infrastructure Capital (IIC), entered an agreement to acquire 49 % of a 1,066 megawatts (MW) portfolio of operational and under construction solar photovoltaic generation assets within the BRUC group. Its strategy is to acquire stakes in infrastructure companies that provide essential services to society, are recession-resistant and offer downside protection through stable and predictable cash flows. With these contributions, BRUC will finance from the group’s parent company the construction of renewable generation plants totaling 8,500 MW in the regions of Aragón, Andalusia, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León. Thanks to hybridization processes, this portfolio of assets includes solar photovoltaic and wind generation plants. BRUC is also developing several renewable energy storage projects.
