Ethics and Good governance

BRUC’s way of doing business is based on facilitating the energy transition through the supply of sustainable energy, constantly seeking to generate additional value with respect for the environment and society, complying with the highest standards of business ethics and sustainability, based on transparency and good conduct.

BRUC has a firm commitment to compliance with national and international legislation and business ethics during its activity, as stated in the Group’s Code of Conduct.

The Code defines BRUC’s business ethics and compliance model and is implemented through policies, standards, processes and controls. BRUC applies the principle of due diligence to prevent, detect and, where appropriate, eliminate irregular conduct that violates company policies and applicable legislation. The Board of Directors is the ultimate guarantor of BRUC’s ethical culture and the effectiveness of its business ethics and compliance model.

The Code of Conduct applies to all BRUC professionals, suppliers, contractors and collaborators, to those who act on behalf of the company, and, in general, to all its business partners.

Additionally, BRUC has in force the Supplier Code of Conduct, which aims to develop the principles and values that the Group has established in its Code of Conduct and that inspire BRUC’s  relations with its suppliers, being configured as an action guide to which suppliers must adhere.

BRUC considers it essential to adopt and comply with the Code in order to work with the Group, within a framework of stable collaboration, business ethics and regulatory compliance.

BRUC’s ETHICS CHANNEL is the system that BRUC makes available to the Group’s professionals or any third party to report possible criminal or administrative infractions or any other illicit conduct, behavior contrary to the Code of Conduct or unethical conduct committed in the context of Bruc’s business.

BRUC’s ETHICS CHANNEL provides total confidentiality and allows the sending of information anonymously. There will be no sanctions or retaliation for those who report in good faith.
