BRUC actively contributes to decarbonization and to the global energy mix being based on clean energies, giving a sustainable approach to its strategy and business management, with a clear orientation towards the development of the welfare of society and respect for the environment.

Sustainability is an added value and positioning value for BRUC. The development of the ESG strategy brings a strategic focus to BRUC’s initiatives with the objective of positioning itself as a reference organization in sustainability at a global level. To this end, the strategy aims to increase the reputation and trust of all stakeholders and reduce the negative externalities derived from its activities.

BRUC’s sustainability strategy is articulated through principles that guide its actions through ethical, transparent, responsible and sustainable management in the environmental, social and governance/economic areas.

A strategy with an impact on all stakeholders. The strategy aims to minimize negative impacts on stakeholders and maximize positive impacts and value creation.

OUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE 2030 AGENDA AND THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

As a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, BRUC reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by reinforcing and aligning its strategy with the universally accepted Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and by deploying actions that support the United Nations goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Specifically, BRUC actively contributes to 10 of the 17 SDGs, and ensures that it does not undermine any of the others, through the application of the Do Not Significant Harm (DNSH) principle.
